New year, new starts. I hope so anyway.

I hope Vigu will find the perfect job or win the lottery, whatever goes first.

I know I need to get out of the funk I'm in and start doing things...

My baby is one year old today. I can't believe how quickly time flies. It seems as though only yesterday I was lying on a hospital bed, crying for Vigu that I'm going to die. 43 hours of the most hoffic pain I could ever imagined ended with a 4 kg purple wrinkled boy.

I love him to bits. When he smiles he makes it all worth it. Luckily for us he smiles a lot :)

Happy Birthday Yair, you brighten our world. Now, if you could start sleeping all night again I would be grateful...

Magic Fingers

Yesterday was a very sad day in Israel. I have never been so hurt, scared and upset. We have known many tragedies, but for me it is the worst. We have become Iran.

We always walk there, every saturday night since Yair was born. Last night we decided to go somewhere else...  Scarey.

Right after my first exam I took my little sister to watch HBP. It was great, but some moments made me 'huh?'...

Also, my work sucks. Big time. Time for a change...

I had a lovely birthday. Really.
Ok, so working and cleaning the house is not such a great birthday. And this woman I work with was so terrible to me today, worse than usual.
It's been years since I had a birthday blues, 4 years to be exact. Well, I'm not really sad, I know we'll have fun this weekend. It's just.... I don't know what I'm trying to say...
I really shouldn't pay attention to mean people.

I started working again 2 weeks ago, after 5 months of maternity leave... and it sucks big time! I have 2 exams coming up so I don't have a minute to myself. I have nothing to wear because I really have no time to do the laundry, not to mention getting on the net and reading a nice fic. I barely see Yair and Vigu.
Hopefully by the end of this month everything will be better, after I finish my exams.

And, I missed shiiki 's birthday... by far! (Almost 10 days, thats quite a lot)

In 2 week's time I'll be back, hopefully.

After 4 days of searching, at 4 AM, we found her on a senior clubhouse's straicase (a few meter's from home). She was really scared, took us more than an hour to get her down and get back home. She's more grey than white now, and full of fleas, and Pikachu is still spitting and hissing whenever she walks by (probably because of the smell).

I'm so relieved.

And we go on to food.

Alice ran away...

My fault really, I forgot the window opened and went out for 30 minutes. She was gone and we've been looking for her for 2 days now. She's nearly deaf, I really hope she survives.
Poor pikachu, he keeps mewing all day long.

The recipe came from the book  האוצר של על השולחן. My sisters got me the book for my birthday and it has 400 recipes, most of them look so great, I already tried several of them and they were easy and tastey. In Hebrew, of course.

Yeh, it's been a while...

Here's the reason:



That's my new born son, Yair :-) I love him to bits...

But really, pregnancy has been a nightmare, everything made me sick, and I was so tired I just slept the whole time (with the exception of getting married and going on my honeymoon). My computer time suffered, of course, and also my cooking time. Couldn't stand going to the kitchen, the smell made me sick.
But now, back to comp, back to kitchen... did great fudge, will upload pics later on.

Got married on friday, I was very nervous at the begining. But after the ceremony people started eating and I wasn't the center of attention anymore, so I started to actually enjoy the party.
Vigu was estatic. He's so cute when he's drunk :)

I'll post pictures as soon as I get them.

Last month was my grandmother's memorial day. My grandmother was a very special woman. as a holocaust survivor her main goal was to feed us. And her food is what we remember the most.
From the day I remember myself, wednesday was a special day. On that day we got a special delivery from my grandmother with dishes, mostly hungarian food. Tomato soup, been & sour cream soup, gombotz, blintzes with sweet cheese or with potatoes, letcho and a lot more. 
It was my favorite day.
In memory of her, we make dinner for the whole family (40 people, from us grandchildren to our grandfather and his brothers) every year in her memorial day. This time we decided to make the dishes she used to cook for us. It was a huge success and we're going to do it every year, with different dishes.

Had the last exam yesterday, was a total disaster. 

Other than that, life started smiling, I don't feel like shit anymore. I feel a lot better and the poor sofa doesn't suffer my weight every minute of the day. I slept for a month straight, Now I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep. But I have energy, so I'm ok.

Did this quiz, I love quizes, adore them! I'm not sure why, but I really enjoy filling them out and waiting for the result.

I feel better now, though exausted. And I have exams soon, Baaahhh.
